Sacred Union is a 5-day retreat for couples in southern France, at Hameau de l’Étoile, a scenic and authentic hamlet in the mountains outside Montpellier. This retreat invites you to explore love, presence, pleasure and connection in a dedicated space with your partner.

During these five days, you will discover ancient tantric wisdom for the sexual person of today through practices designed to deepen intimacy and awareness. The retreat includes body-opening exercises for more presence and pleasure, exploration of orgasmic energy, sensual tantric massage techniques, and tantric lovemaking where breath and the senses take you deeper.

There is also space to rest in the energy of your hearts, to explore how sex can become spiritual through ecstasy and meditation, and even to play with the French kiss, “un baiser amoureux”, because you are in France.

All exercises are done only with your partner, and every exercise is voluntary.

This retreat is open to all couples, regardless of age, sexual orientation or identity, and regardless of how long you have been together.

About the retreat setting

The retreat takes place at Hameau de l’Étoile, a retreat center in the mountains outside Montpellier. It is described as a beautiful place with a large pool, set near the cozy city of Montpellier in the south of France.

You choose and book your room yourself through the link you receive after registration. Full board is included, and the total price depends on your choice of room standard. The venue also serves pastries and cheeses, and coffee and tea are available all the time.

You can also take the opportunity to stay in the old town of Montpellier, or combine the retreat with time at the beach along the south French coast.

The Facilitators

Paula Nygren
Paula helps you come closer to yourself and your partner through tantra, conscious touch, breath and body-based work. Her approach supports sexuality, pleasure and relationship in a safe, accepting and non-judgmental space. A certified Sexsibility Coach, couples therapist inspired by EFT, massage therapist and tantra teacher, she has also worked in psychiatry and as a school nurse.

Jarno Kinnunen
Jarno supports deep inner transformation through breathwork and grounded presence. His facilitation brings a balanced, strong, permissive and gentle masculine quality that helps create safety and trust for couples. Based in the Gothenburg region, he leads weekly breathwork groups, individual sessions, workshops, festivals and retreats, and co-teaches trainings in Tantric Breathwork.

• About 10,000 SEK / 900 euros per person
• The total price includes the retreat, accommodation and full board
• The final amount depends on your choice of room standard
• Travel to the venue is arranged by you

Registration and cancellation policy

• Registration is binding.
• Up to 30 days before the start of the retreat, 50% of the fee will be refunded.
• You are advised to have insurance that covers your travel, stay and retreat costs in case of illness.
