Stage intensif d'été Voix-Corps

Niveau Intermediaire et Avancé 
Cet atelier est ouvert aux participants intéressés par l'approche 'Roy Hart' et qui ont une certaine expérience du travail vocal et corporel.

Le travail du Roy Hart offre la possibilité de développer un lien plus profond avec votre propre potentiel vocal unique.
Le son de la voix prend sa source dans le corps ainsi que dans le monde de nos émotions. C’est pour cela que le jeu et le mouvement peuvent libérer de façon surprenante des possibilités vocales restées cachées et non-exprimées. Cette expérience peut être extrêmement libératrice et revivifiante.

A travers l’exploration et le développement de la connaissance des sources de la voix dans le corps et dans l’imaginaire et guidés par deux enseignants expérimentés et bienveillants, les participants de ce stage bougeront, danseront, « sonneront » et chanteront.

Les matins l’accent sera mis sur les voix individuelles. Les après-midi nous travaillerons en groupe les improvisations, le jeu et les textes et/ou les chansons apportés par chacun.
 
Margaret PIKES  (UK/FRANCE/ALLEMAGNE) est un des membres fondateurs du Roy Hart Theatre. Elle a dirigé des stages et donné des cours d’exploration vocale en France et sur le plan international depuis plus de 35 ans. Basée à Cologne, elle dirige des ateliers de recherche vocale pour débutants et professionnels. Elle enseigne également à Londres, et en France.
 
Neil PARIS (UK)  est un artiste du dancetheatre. Il utilise sa formation en théâtre, danse et yoga, pour favoriser l’accès aux chemins qui lient le corps et la voix. Il propose une exploration ludique qui vise à allumer l’imagination pour une meilleure créativité. De 2003 à  2010 il était membre du Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre  www.fabulousbeast.net. 
Cette année il est en tournée avec Stillhouse Dancetheatre dans "Ours was the Fen Country".  Il collabore avec Margaret Pikes depuis 2005.

Voice-Body Intensive Workshop

Intermediate and Advanced Level
This workshop is opened to the participants interested in the approach "Roy Hart ' and who have a certain experience of the vocal and physical work.

ROY HART voice work offers a way to develop a deeper connection to your own unique vocal potential. Because vocal sound has its source in the body as well as in the world of our emotions, play and movement can often unexpectedly free up vocal possibilities that lie hidden and unexpressed. Experiencing this can be extremely liberating and life giving. Guided by two very experienced and supportive teachers, participants in this workshop will move, dance, sound and sing as they explore and develop awareness of the dynamic sources of the voice in the body and the imagination.

In the mornings we will focus on individual voices and in the afternoons on group improvisation, play and the development of individual themes including work on texts or singing songs.

Languages used will be English and French - with some translation to German also possible where necessary.

The course is open to anyone interested in the Roy Hart approach to developing the range of vocal expression, through sounding, singing, moving and listening.

The number of places on the course is limited.

Margaret Pikes (UK/FRANCE/ALLEMAGNE) is one of the founder members of the Roy Hart Theatre and has been a professional singer and performer in wide variety of genre. She has led workshops and taught vocal exploration in France and internationally for more than 35 years. Based in Cologne, she leads classes for beginners and professionals. NEIL PARIS (UK) (UK) is a director, performer and teacher and artistic director of SMITHdancetheatre (www.agnesandwalter.co.uk.)

From 2003-2010 he toured internationally with Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre (www.fabulousbeast.net) where he met Margaret Pikes and led company classes and vocal development. He has been working with Margaret Pikes since 2005. In this work Neil uses dance, theatre and yoga practices to explore imaginative ways of making connections and pathways through the body to the voice. He combines playful exercises designed to free the body and spark the imagination with disciplined quiet practices that connect us with our breathing and our own unique interior worlds.
